I am in Atlanta and want to get away from the city!!!!!?

I have 2 smalI children who have never been to the country! Are there any good places to just ride and see the countryside of GA. I dont want to travel too far, but would like to take the family out for a drive just to see a change of environment (Cows, horses, etc)!!!! We would like to do this today!!!
