I've bruised the wall of my chest - should I lug suitcases?

I work as a coach driver and am due to drive a tour to London this weekend. Thing is, I slipped and fell whilst getting out of the bath earlier and have bruised the wall of my chest on the left side (so the very nice but virtually unintelligible doctor in A&E says). It hurts like hell to do pretty much everything. Aside from the pain point of view, am I going to damage myself further by loading and unloading suitcases onto my coach?
