Survivor of Domestic Violence: Where can I get free information/dirt on a person?

We are survivors of domestic violence. My daughter is now 10. We left our abuser 9.5 years ago. He doesn't pay child support; writes her off on taxes - after 6+ years of therapy, parenting cless, group, living from shelter to shelter and in total fear - I am fed up. I allowed someone to violate me and my daughter and I am moving forward now. I can't be stuck on stupid forever, my fears are in the past. I am ready to provide my beautiful daughter with the best education possible and to be able to buy her new clothes, take her to museums, the acquariums and all of lifes wonderful pleasures. To make a long story short.... I'd appreciate any info on FREE sites to obtain information/dirt on this jerk to help me validate any criminal, violent behavior when I go to court. Thank you!!!!.
