Make sure that the refresh rate matches your television. Those fancy numbers they tell you at the store like 60hz 120hz 240hz, set it/limit it appropriately in your nVidia software. Quite often, during the handshaking process where the output device is communicating with the television, the television will lie to the devices they are connected to (indicating they will do 1080p for example when the set is really only capable of 720p, or can handle a certain refresh rate as well)
