My hair has just changed into a side parting. Will it stay like this?

So the other day when my hair was wet i brushed it all the way back, like ALL the way back so it was pointing backwards. As it dried it sort of started to point to the front left hand side which it never usually does. Now that its dried completely (this was 2 days ago btw) its turned into a side parting. My hair usually goes to a point, looking to some people like im going baled, where i gel it so it goes to a faux hawk style. i was just wondering if my hair is going to stay like this as i was about to get my hair cut the next day and i don't want to if it'll stay the way it looks now.
