I found my daughter after a 12 year search!!!!?

If you are her father, you need to tell her as soon as you find out the results! This is my story: I always wondered why I was the only one in my entire family with a different last name.. I often asked if I was adopted! It was a scary thought cause I didn't like feeling "different" from my "siblings"... Well one day (when I was around 13 years old) I found my birth certificate and saw that the person I called my dad was not under the "father" name.. I was so saddened by this. I met my biological father when I was 16 (I am currently 19). Even up to this day I often become very depressed. Ever since I found out my "dad" has acted different towards me. I think that you should tell her ASAP.. She's still young so it won't hit her as hard.. I think that if I wouldve found out at this age I'd go crazy. I do have to warn u though.. If she already has a father figure in her life it might be very difficult for her to accept you. Don't expect you to start loving you soon. After 3 years of knowing mybiological father, I still don't feel love towards him. And one more thing, DO NOT try to buy her love with gifts... Cause it's not gonna happen.. It's gonna be hard for the two of you.. Good luck & give us the news soon :)
