Did Sports Illustrated shoot Lindsey Vonn before the Olympics cuz they knew she'd be too expensive afterwards?

I think it started with the playboy layouts from the last olympics with the German woman and SI figured they better jump on board. If Vonn didn't do it, they could have had another 20 or 30 that would have. The 4 Americans that did the layouts were all pretty hot.
